Virginia Katherine (Parker) Keith, 89, was called home by her Heavenly Father on March 7, 2016 in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born July 15, 1926 in Roanoke, Virginia to Terry Lee and Virginia
Lorraine (Johnson) Parker both deceased.
Among Virginia’s many accomplishments included ministering to the homeless and working for Vista Literacy Program in Fort Pierce. She loved arts and crafts, played the accordion and guitar and loved to sing. She was a strong woman of faith and blessed many people with her unselfish giving to the ministry of sharing Gods love and Salvation through Jesus Christ and loving her family unconditionally.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Constance Ann Monroe of Indianapolis, IN, Marsha Lee Bratton of Ft. Pierce, FL, Ila May (Tom) Johnson of Clearwater, FL, Mrs. Chris Bowman of St. Cloud, FL; sons, Terry Lynn (Connie) Bowman of Lizton, IN, Byron Christian (Toni) Bowman of Danville, IN; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Evaline Waide of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by husbands, Samuel Asa Bowman, Sr. of Indiana, Eldon Lane of Illinois and Coperry Keith of Summerville, SC, son, Samuel Asa Bowman, Jr., grandson, Richard A. Monroe II, and great-great-grandson, Joshua Daniel Mediz.
Services: Visitation will be held on March 13, 2016 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston, South Carolina.
