Virginia Boehm Slagle

Virginia Boehm Slagle, 90, died December 26, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Slagle was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Fort Pierce in 1967.
Prior to retirement, she worked at Bellsouth for 28 years, retiring as Supervisor. She was a member of Indian River Presbyterian Church and was also in the church choir. She was a member of the Pilots Club, Telephone Pioneers, and Stephens Ministers Elder.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (Bruce) Lindsay of Cleveland, OH, Bonnie (Richie) Norris of Port Orange, FL; sons, Richard Boehm of Port St. Lucie, FL, Wade Boehm of Sebastian, FL and William “Bill” Boehm of Palmdale, CA; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Slagle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indian River Presbyterian Church, 2499 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL
Services: Private inurnment services were conducted at White City Cemetery.
