Virginia Ann Wrench, a beloved dental technician, artist, and advocate for her community, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2023, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
She was born on December 31, 1931, in Folkston, Georgia. Virginia moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1963 coming from Hilliard, Florida.
Growing up on the beautiful shores of Miami Beach, Florida where she met the love of her life, Roger she had an adventurous spirit and a deep appreciation for art.
Throughout her career as a dental technician spanning eight years, Virginia approached every patient with care and compassion.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Virginia selflessly devoted herself to volunteering at Mustard Seed—an organization close to her heart that aimed to uplift and support those in need within the community and she spent much of her time with the neighborhood children where she became known as Grandma to many.
She is survived by her daughter Frances (Doug Rooks) Wrench Millar of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons James Wrench of Fort Pierce, FL and Roger (Buzzy) Wrench of Pensacola, FL; sisters Dale (George) Spurlock of Folkston, GA and June (Dallas) Hires of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren Daniel (Kristy) Wrench, James Wrench, Taylor Wrench, and Brett (Kelley) Millar; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will take place at Pineview Cemetery, Folkston, Georgia. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
