Vivian Louise Hines,87, died August 20, 2013 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Vivian was born in Linesville, PA and was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 9 years, coming from Inverness, Florida.

When Jesus was asked, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” he answered, “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘ Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31

This scripture summarizes the life of Vivian Hines. From the moment she encountered Jesus at the age of 12, he became her life and her Rock as she faithfully served Him for the next 75 years. Through many years of suffering physical pain and the challenges of life, she prayed earnestly, loved others well, and forgave graciously with the joy of the Lord as her strength. She had the most beautiful smile which warmed the hearts of anyone who was blessed to be in her presence. Her legacy lives on through all of us whose lives she touched.
