Vivian Irene Garnier Trabulsy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on January 11, 2024. Born on September 21, 1935 in Trenton, New Jersey, Vivian was the fifth child to her parents, Natalie and Robert Garnier.
She later moved to Yardley, Pennsylvania with her family during her high school years. Vivian attended Hood College before transferring to the University of Miami where she studied art. While there, she met her future husband, Norman Trabulsy, the love of her life. They married in 1957 and then their adventure began. They moved to Baltimore, Maryland while Norman pursued his dental education. From there, they moved to Georgia while Norman was in the Air Force and they finally settled in Fort Pierce in 1965.
Vivian’s greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother to her five children. She loved entertaining and cooking, especially Sunday dinners, surrounded by her ever-growing family and friends.
As a Mima, Vivian never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. She was always there for every Little League and volleyball game, school and church activity, birthday celebrations and all memorable moments of their lives.
Vivian carried her passion for art throughout her life, creating beautiful pieces of artwork that her family and friends will cherish forever.
Vivian and Norman were active parishioners of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, serving as the parish’s first Eucharistic Ministers.
Vivian is survived by her son, Norman (Chellie), of the Bahamas; son, Paul (Dana), daughter, Natalie (Jim), and son, Carl (Linette) all of Fort Pierce; her 12 grandchildren, Malachi Trabulsy of the Bahamas; Michael Trabulsy (Kristin), Kristen Trabulsy Guettler (Matthew), Ryan and Kyle Trabulsy, Kate and Christine Westenhaver, and Maria Gamez (Alex ) all of Fort Pierce; Victoria, Edmund and Scarlett Pickard of England; and Russ Laine of Tampa.
