Vivien L. Haid, 89 died March 10, 2004 at a local nursing home after a short illness; missing her 90th Birthday by four days.Mrs. Haid was born in New Castle, PA on March 14, 1914. She was a Florida resident for 53 years, residing in Fort Pierce for the past 21 years.Mrs. Haid was a retired accountant and bookkeeper.She was an avid bowler, holding an office on the boards of St. Lucie County W.B.A. and Port St. Lucie W.B.A. She was past secretary of the Haisley-Hobbs Leagues and the Tip-Top League. She also enjoyed bingo and cards with her friends.
Mrs. Haid is survived by her daughter, Arlene H. Applebee of Ft. Pierce, and a son, C.S. Haid, Jr. and wife Janie of Daytona Beach, FL. She leaves eight grandchildren, which include locally, John M. Applebee and wife Lori, Ken Applebee and wife Simone, Kathy Applebee Mazzarella and husband Pete. She also has fifteen great-grandchildren.Mrs. Haid was preceded in death by her husband, C. S.
