He was born in Rochester, New York in 1917 and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1976 coming from Rochester.He worked for Eastman Kodak for 37 years.He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of numerous country clubs including Ridgemont Country Club and Salmon Creek Country Club in Rochester, NY. He was also an avid golfer and bowler, belonging to several bowling leagues.He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-four years, Mary Evans of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Donna J. Bissonette and husband, Lyn of Spencerport, NY; son, John H. Evans of Canada; he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Evans; stepsons, D. Gregory Copeland of Rochester, NY, Gary E. and Mark W. Copeland both of Colorado, and Richard A. Copeland and wife, Maureen of Stuart, FL; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
