Wally Michael Dressel

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Wally Michael Dressel, a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Wally passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024, at 72, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Wally was born on October 8, 1951, in St. Louis, MO, to parents Waldemar and Laura Dressel. He was Paula's beloved husband, with whom he shared nearly 52 years of marriage. Their union was a testament to enduring love and unwavering partnership, filled with countless adventures.

Those who knew Wally will remember his warm smile, genuine kindness, and ability to make everyone feel valued, loved, and ready for a good laugh. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were blessed to know and love him.

As a father, Wally prioritized his children's needs over his own. He was willing to listen and offer his perspectives to his two children, Jonathan and Murriah. His love extended to his three grandchildren, Hali, Michael, and Holly, and his great-grandson, Hunter, all brought him immeasurable pride and happiness.

Wally appreciated the natural world, finding solace in the countryside and by the ocean. His love for these serene landscapes reflected his soul—calm, deep, and ever-inviting.

Wally was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan, whom he missed immensely. Wally was rooted in his Christian faith, believing he would be reunited with his son in eternity. He is survived by his wife, Paula; his sister, Diane; his daughter and son-in-law, Murriah and Mark; his grandchildren, Hali, Michael, and Holly; and his great-grandson, Hunter.

Wally's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. Though he no longer walks beside us, Wally's spirit will forever guide us.

A memorial service will be held at The Island Club at PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, located at 9200 One Putt Place, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024
