Walter A. Bandyk, age 94, died on May 3, 2012 in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was born in Detroit Michigan and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1974, coming from Springfield, VA.
He was a retired Major from the US Marine Corp, a member of Port St. Lucie Catholic Church, VFW of Fort Pierce, and a member of Indian Hills Golf and Country Club.
He is survived by his daughters, Diane Bandyk of Port St. Lucie, Patricia Welch of Woodstock, GA; sons, Timothy Bandyk of Winchester, WV, Walter Bandyk of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Helen Nizuik, Josephine Bandyk, Joan Pillon, Rita Ossy, Francis Robinson, Theresa Gillis, Helen Bandyk all of Michigan; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bandyk.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 9, at 5PM, at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. A Memorial Service, with military honors, will follow at 6PM.
