Walter E. Wile
Walter E. Wile, 81, died October 2, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Wile was born in Ipswich, Massachusetts and moved to Ft. Pierce 54 years ago.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was the Deputy Chief Fire Marshall for 28 years with the St. Lucie County Fire Department. He also worked with Mahan Citrus, was the former president of the Local Chapter of the American Red Cross, member of the VFW, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, of 58 years, Louise Wile of Ft. Pierce, FL; son Tim Wile of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters Brenda Wile of Sebastian, FL and Libby Wile King of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother Howard Wile of Indiana; grandchildren Doug Wile, Erik Wile, Nicholas Wile, and Cody King; great grandchildren Kennedy and Kamryn Wile. He was preceded in death by his brother James “Jigger” Wile.
Services: A visitation will be held Thursday October 6, 2011 from 4-6PM at Haisley Funeral Home with a service to follow at 6:00 PM.
