Warren Floyd Young, 70, died August 4, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Young was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1946 coming from Vero Beach.
He worked for Grumman Aerospace for 27 years and recently retired from the City of Ft. Pierce in the Public Works Department after 14 years of service. He loved fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Anita Young of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Richard Young of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepsons, Scott Snowden of Ft. Pierce, FL and Rick Snowden of Sarasota, FL; stepdaughter, Aimee Snowden of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Anne Jenkins of High Springs, FL, Faye Peters of Elba, AL, and Sharon Stephens of Ft. Pierce, FL; 1 grandchild; 6 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother & father, Ola & Floyd Young and sons, Alan and Daniel Young.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
