Wayne Jerolaman, 72, died on June 14, 2020 in Sarasota, FL.
He was born in Phillipsburg, NJ. He traveled the world throughout his life but made the Treasure Coast of Florida his home for the past 25 years.
He was truly an international man of mystery. Living in Prague, Mexico, Argentina, and in various parts of the United States, he made connections wherever he went. He was an amazing storyteller, a lover of history, and a loyal friend. During his life, he was an actor, principal, and teacher most notably spending the last 20 years teaching Spanish at John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce and connecting in extraordinary ways with his students. His generous spirit, kind heart, and quick wit endeared him to everyone who met him.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lopresti of Miami, FL; brothers, Steve (Cathy) Jerolaman of Point Pleasant, NJ; Marvin Jerolaman of Stuart, FL; and Mike (Nancy) Jerolaman of Farmville, VA; nephews and a niece; very dear friends, Ben and Nancy Hopper and family especially the joy of his world, Ben and Nancy’s son Andrew.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 at Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service, Fort Pierce.
