WAYNE J. SNYDER
Wayne J. Snyder, 84, entered into peaceful rest on May 27, 2012, at his home in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Wayne was born in Rathmel, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Frank E. Snyder and Lottie Goodyear Snyder. He married the love of his life, Marie Cross, on September 24, 1949. He was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1985, coming from East Amherst, New York.

Wayne was the founder of Snyder Industries, founded in 1971 in Tonawanda, NY, a 32nd degree Mason, Ken-ton Lodge #1186, a member of Meadowood Golf & Tennis Club and Pelican Yacht Club and served with the United States Army during WWII.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marie A. Snyder of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Thomas W. Snyder, Sr. and his companion, Victoria Ligammari of Grand Island, NY and Keith J. Snyder of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Karen S. Snyder of Fort Pierce, FL and Wende J. Columbo and her companion William Platter of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Helen (George) Clontz of Reynoldsville, PA; brother, Ronald Snyder of Tonawanda, NY; 4 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by granddaughter, Tammy Columbo, brothers Sherman, Guy, William and Donald.

Memorial contributions may be made in Wayne’s memory to Lakewood Park United Methodist Church, Family Life Center, 5405 Turnpike Feeder Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34951.

Visitation will be Friday, June 1st from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Lakewood Park United Methodist Church, followed by a Service at 11:00 AM. A private burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
