Wayne Castle Walls
November 18, 1940 to September 25, 2024
Wayne was born to Tommy and Floy Mae Walls in 1940. He was one of seven children born and raised in Caruthersville, Missouri. He graduated Caruthersville High School Class of 1958. His early years included service in the Air Force and eventually moving to Kokomo, Indiana, where he met and married Deanna Lee (Feightner) Walls. They had two children, Leslie Rene and Stephen DeWayne. Wayne and the family moved to Florida 1981 where he transitioned from a realtor to property appraiser for St. Lucie County, eventually moving to owning and operating his own business.
After Deana‘s passing in 1995, Wayne remarried and went on to have son Russell Wayne Walls.
Wayne was preceded in death by his son Stephen DeWayne Walls, his wife Deanna Lee Walls, parents Tommy and Floy Mae Walls, sisters, Eileen Gabriel and Mary Walls, brother and best friend Richard (Dick) Walls just earlier this year. Wayne lost Jesse Mark Sipple forever known as his grandson.
Wayne is survived by his daughter Leslie (Dale) Howard, Son Russell Wayne Walls, Grandchildren Megan (Joseph) Krystof, Nicolas “Adam” Creel, Ethan Creel, Michael (Julie) Sipple, and Great Grandchildren Owen Nicolas Creel, Waylon Krystof, Levi Krystof, Jesse Sipple, Michael Sipple, brother Dwight Walls, sisters Peggy Nolin and Caroline (Hershel) Barnett, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and friends throughout the country.
Wayne will be laid to rest at White City Cemetery in Fort Pierce, Florida, October 5, 2024 at 2:30 PM. Beside him will be his son Stephen DeWayne Walls (1986) and wife Deanna Lee Walls (1995) who preceded him.
Arrangements for the service are provided by Haisley Funeral and Crematorium in Fort Pierce Florida. The service will be broadcast via live steaming and recorded for rebroadcast later with the media source to be announced at a later date with instructions.
