Wendy Lynn Martin Masters
God blessed this earth with Wendy Lynn Martin on March 28, 1962; he called her home on February 26, 2023. Although her family and friends were not ready to say goodbye, Wendy was ready to reunite with the love of her life, Frank. She is at peace.
Wendy was born in Washington, D.C. She made Fort Pierce her home at an early age. It was then that she began her love of the beach and ocean. She can be described as a “water baby.” Wendy cherished everything about the water – she loved to fish, surf, and enjoy the sand between her toes. In her younger years, she enjoyed skateboarding, and doing anything athletic. Wendy loved to sing and could draw a crowd to hear her soulful voice. She was beyond talented in so many ways.
Wendy was so full of life. It did not matter who’s path she crossed, she always made a beautiful impression on them. She was full of love, compassion, acceptance, happiness, and joy. When Wendy entered the room, everyone knew she was there. She always stood out with her infectious laughter and smile. Her laughter could be heard from a far and her humor was impeccable. Without any effort, she could light up a room.
Wendy had many, many wonderful friends. Regardless, if she met a person 40 years ago or 40 minutes ago, they were a friend for life. She would give the shirt off her back to a perfect stranger.
Twenty years ago, Wendy met the love of her life, Frank. He completed her. Their love affair was one for the books. Her heart was with him when he passed, and now their love affair continues on.
Wendy was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was adored by them – she was their glue. Tiffany (John Spivey) Kolesar and David Blake Kolesar were blessed to have such a wonderful mother. Grandchildren, Bella Kolesar, David Kolesar Jr, Hunter Lindborn, Shane Woods, Brielle Bell, and Jonathan Butler were the apple of her eye. They will cherish all of the memories they were blessed with.

Besides her devoted children and grandchildren, her mother, Peggy “Peppy” Adams and her sister, Debbie (Eddy) Reed are also left to cherish their beautiful memories. She will be forever missed by her extended family including, Aunt Jean and Auntie Cat; nieces, Natasha (Chris) Santoro and Crystal Hutchinson and nephews, Eddie (Jennifer) Reed and Blake (Kaitlyn) Martin. She was preceded in death by her father, James Blake Martin Jr; brother, James “Butch” Blake Martin Jr and her beloved, Frank Masters.
