Wilda Lee Long, 89, formerly of Cumberland, MD, died June 7th in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born on August 31, 1920 in Cumberland, the daughter of Jacob and Ada Snyder. She was the last survivor of 11 siblings. Wilda passed away peacefully at home with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, William R. Long and granddaughter, Jamie E. Walvick. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Long) Walvick and son-in-law, Stan Walvick of Fort Pierce, a granddaughter, Mandy L. Kincaid, of Vero Beach, FL, a grandson, Jeffrey S. Walvick of Portland, ME, a great-granddaughter, Jessica E. Walvick of Fort Pierce and a great-grandson, Austin G. Seegert of Vero Beach, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service at a later date in Cumberland, MD. Final resting place will be next to her husband in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 2500 Virginia Avenue #202, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
