William C. Gilder, 77, died July 12, 2010 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Gilder was born in Milan, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce 20 years ago coming from Dubois, Illinois.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of Foreign War, Post 6979. He loved working with bees and enjoyed tinkering with things.
Survivors include his son, Rodney Gilder of Sandy Ridge, NC; sisters, Mary Roberson of Broxton, GA and Linda Tillman of Rincon, GA; two grandchildren, Trae Gilder and Tiffany Consos; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Trent and Brenna Gilder and Ethan and Asher Consos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gilder, brothers, Elton, Tom and Bobby, sisters, Bertha, Ethel, and Ruby, and grandson, Todd.
