William Charles Matthews, 80, died December 26, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Matthews was born in Newburg, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1936.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Clanton of Morriston, FL; 2 granddaughters and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
