William Clark Hanner, Sr., 64, died August 26, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Hanner was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He was a truck driver and also a retired fireman from Seminole & St. Lucie County. He was an avid volunteer in the community and loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Valerie R. Hanner of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, William (Tisa) Hanner, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, FL and Terry (Rita) Hanner of Tennessee; daughter, Alena (Ronald) Spells of Georgia; stepdaughter, Renee Sherry of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Johnny (Susan) Hanner of Ft. Pierce, FL and Jimmy (Sherree) Hanner of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Kathy Dourney and Evelyn Shatley both of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, William Hanner III, Brandon, Brittney, and Terry Hanner, Jr., Kandice Wescott, Daniel Wescott, Ronald and Christopher Spells, Michael and Stevie Mathis, Anastasia Johns, Valerie, Henri and Dale Siregar; aunt & uncle, Carol & Paul Thompson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Pete Hanner, mother & father, Carmelita and Clarence Hanner.

Services: A memorial service will be held at the Light of the World Church, 2730 S. US 1, Suite 103-104, Ft. Pierce on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
