William Dobson, 51, died August 13, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Dobson was formerly of Cedar Grove, New Jersey and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1988.
He worked for the City Water Department. He was an Eagle Scout, a Sea Scout and a Volunteer Police Officer in Stuart and St. Lucie County. His passion was coaching soccer for 18 years for the PSL Soccer Club and also loved fishing.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Dobson and his father, William J. Dobson. Survivors include his son, Daniel Dobson; daughter, Sarai Fajans; partner, Nancy Fajans; mother, Ceciel Rosenstein; sister, Cynthia D. Meilands; brothers, James Dobson and Timothy Dobson and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the PSL Soccer Club, 700 SW Carmelite Street, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2011 South 13th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
