William E. Fuchs, 86, died on February 18, 2008 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Fort Pierce in 1981, coming from Long Island, NY.He worked for a pharmaceutical company. He was a member of the Fort Pierce Yacht Club, was a Past Commodore of ERYC, a former Boy Scout and PAL leader, and was also active in various Veteran organizations.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Florence Fuchs of Fort Pierce; daughters, Carole Fahey of Fort Pierce and Sharyn Krudis of Long Island, NY; son, William Fuchs of Longs Island, NY; sister, Margaret Brzozowski of Willmington, DE; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1100 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996.Visitation will be on Friday, February 22, 2008, from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
