William C. Evans, 78, died May 4, 2012 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Evans was born in Brazil, Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1989 coming from Akron, Ohio.
He worked for Honeywell and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Porth of Ft. Pierce, FL; step-daughter, Sandra Orlando of Akron, OH; sons, Todd Evans of Ft. Pierce, FL and Cole Evans of Ft. Pierce, FL; stepson, Steve Snyder of Indiana; sister, Betty Middleton of Indiana; 10 grandchildren ; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Evans, son, Kim Evans and granddaughter, Shana Evans.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Port St. Lucie Nursing & Restorative Care Center, 7300 Oleander Avenue, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula, Ohio.
