William J. Weber

William John “Bill” Weber, 77, died November 13, 2010 in Stuart, Florida.

Mr. Weber was born in New Hyde Park, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1984 coming from Dix Hills, Long Island, New York.

He was the CEO of Weber-Stevens Publications in Farmingdale, New York for 30 years and co-owner of the Painted Pony Dude Ranch in Long Island, New York and a Veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, and of Port St. Lucie Elks Lodge. William had a great love for animals and was very devoted to his family.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Weber of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Michael Weber of Tampa, FL; daughters, Nancy Tomaselli of Seaford, NY and Ellen Weber of Centereach, NY; step-sons, Donald Steele of Stephen City, VA and Raymond Steele of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-daughter, Mary Beth Bender of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Elizabeth Langan of Doylestown, PA; and 11 grandchildren.

Services: Visitation will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 5-8 PM with a Wake Service at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 9:30 AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL. Interment will take place at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, New York.
