William Jeffreys "Billy" Meyer

William “Billy” Jeffreys Meyer, age 46, died on September 5, 2008 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was born in Tsumeb, Namibia, raised in South Africa, and moved to Ft Pierce in 2004.
Billy was an avid traveler, never to be found in a single location for any length of time - as evidenced by the many wonderful friends the world over. He was a man who loved his place of birth and was at his happiest when out in the African “Bush” around a campfire with friends. He was a professional hunter, entrepreneur and gentleman. He based his life on the principles of integrity, generosity of spirit, determination, perseverance and compassion. He embraced life to the fullest.
Billy fought his illness like a true lion!
He is survived by his son’s, William and Justin and daughter’s Cassie, Megan and Alexa.
A private service will be held by family members at a later date.
