Mr. Clemett was born in Yonkers, New York on March 25, 1924 to Frederick Clemett and Elizabeth Corrigan Clemett. In 1950 he married Joyce Ott Clemett.He lived in the Peekskill/Cold Spring, New York area most of his life, and resided in Ft. Pierce since his retirement in 1989.
He served in WWII in the U.S. Army Air Corps, was a ticket agent for the NY Central and Metro North Railroad, and was a life member of the VFW Post #3064, Wappingers Falls, and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #0248 of Ft. Pierce.Survivors include his daughter, Kathryn Schroeder and her companion, Donald Decker of Port Jervis, NY; nephews, Tom Turner of Kentucky, Jack Turner of Florida, and Brad Turner of Georgia; he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ott Clemett, who passed away in 1984, and by his sisters, Catherine Clemett and Margaret Turner.
