Bill Johnson died on June 2, 2016 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Pikeville, KY and moved here in 1959 coming from Pikeville.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce, a proud Veteran of the US Army Air Corp. and member of the Pelican Yacht Club. He was the owner and founder of Suncoast Welding Supplies, Inc, in Fort Pierce, which he established in 1977. He loved books and working in his yard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Amanda Faye Johnson, of Fort Pierce; daughter Jayne (Bruce) Finger of Eustis, FL; son, Jim Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL, grandchildren, Stephanie Sharp of Thomasville, GA and David Finger of Lakeland, FL; great-grandchildren, Ann Sharp, Julia Sharp, William Finger; and sister, Mildred Fuller of Townsend, TN.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
