Mr. Scoville was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1977 coming from Hollywood, FL.Prior to retirement, he was a builder. He also served as a combat Infantryman in the 5th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during WWII. He fought in the five major campaigns: Battle of the Bulge, Metz, Normandy, Ardennes, and Rhineland, and he was awarded: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European Campaign Medal with Four Stars, WWII Victory Medal, Bronze Star, and D-Day Liberty Medal.Survivors include his daughter, Marguerite Scoville-Kiernan of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, William C. Scoville of Anchorage, AK, Clark T. Scoville of Hallandale, FL, and James A. Scoville of Ft. Pierce, FL; and five grandchildren.
