William “Bill” Meyer, 88, died March 29, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Meyer moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 1996 coming from Ortley Beach, New Jersey. He was a Service Manager with IBM for 35 years. An avid New York Giants fan, Mr. Meyer loved gardening, traveling and reading. He served with the U.S. Army and the Army Air Corp, 305th Bomb Group, during WW II. Mr. Meyer received the Army Occupation Medal and the WW II Victory Medal for his service.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dolores Meyer of Port Saint Lucie, FL; son, Keith (Chris) Meyer of Naperville, Illinois; daughter, Karen (Larry) Larsen of Hampshire, Illinois; grandchildren, Brian Larsen, Kristin Larsen and Daniel Meyer. Mr. Meyer is predeceased in death by his grandson Kevin Meyer.
