William C. Nolte, 87, died April 5, 2013 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Nolte was born in Reisterstown, Maryland and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1984 coming from Ft. Lauderdale.

He worked in the transportation and automobile industry in Maryland and for Coggin Motors in Ft. Pierce, was a Lobbyist for Motor Carrier Industry in Maryland from 1970-1977 and owned Just Lite Yogurt in Lakewood Park for 6 years. He was co-president of Treasure Coast Chapter, Hearing Loss Association of America, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Port Saint Lucie.

Survivors include his wife, of 17 years, Cheryl Nolte of Ft. Pierce, FL; son Matthew W. Nolte of Arnold, MD; daughter Laura Sutterfield of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother Thomas Nolte of Weems, VA; grandchildren Joshua and Matthew Sutterfield. He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda and son Claude.

Services: A service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
