William "Bill" Olensky

Our lives have been inexplicably altered today and forever with the tragic loss of William “Bill” Olensky. He was the patriarch of the Olensky family, as well as a devoted father, brother, uncle,
grandfather, and most of all friend to many - one “helluva” good guy.

Married 46 years to Patricia Olensky, father to Michael and Brittany Olensky, father-in-law to Katy Taber-Olensky, and helped raise his nephews John and Robert Pisa. William was predeceased by his mother, Ray Olensky; father, John E. Olensky; and brother, John B. Olensky.
Those that loved him are his sister, Loretta Bureau; nieces, Jennifer O’Keefe, Jessica Davis, and Dawn Flynn; nephews, Fletcher Reeves and Stephen Bureau; great nephews, Christopher Johnson, Van Flynn, Michael Pisa, Evan Davis, Connor Flynn, Chase Bureau, and Colton Bureau; great nieces Mariana Cancio-Rosas, Kristin Pisa, and Emma Davis; and especially granddaughter Camilla Olensky, who adored him and called him “Papa”.

William was co-owner of Atlantic Reporting with Jeanette Scott , former President of Lions International St. Lucie West, former board member of Children’s Home Society, former President of Eclipse Software Users Group, and Manager of Litigation Services in Stuart, FL.
William did not want to leave this life; he fought a valiant battle and still had many more aspirations and achievements to accomplish.. He was a dynamic individual, a force to be reckoned with, but also capable of much love, humility, and charity toward others. He made an indelible mark on this Earth and will be remembered always.

Visitation will be from 5-6 PM with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 PM on January 18, 2016 at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
