William was born in Blaze, Kentucky, and was a resident of Fort Pierce, FL since 1997, coming from South Charleston, Ohio.
He was a driver for a trucking company,.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sonja Phillips of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Kimberly Roddy of Springfield, OH and Angela Eleyet of Urbana, OH; sisters, Annetta Lamson of Rittman, OH, Margaret (Patty) Ellebruck of South Vienna, OH, Mary Lee Van Blaricom of Ft. Wayne, IN, Gerri Perkins of Springfield, OH and Debra Harbage of South Charleston, OH; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Dale Phillips.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel.
