He worked for Southern Bell for 39 years. He was a veteran of the Navy and also a member of the American Legion Post 40, and Telephone Company Pioneers.Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Patricia Sunderland of Ft Pierce, FL; Daughters, Patricia Griffith of Huntingdon, TN and Mary Mahony of Belmont, MA; Son, William V. Sunderland Jr. of Ft Pierce, FL; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.Services: A service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Marks Catholic Church.
