William L. Wolf

William L. Wolf, 94, born January 2, 1931 in Fort Pierce to Marie and Frank Wolf Sr., died January 17, 2025 in Fort Pierce after a brief illness. William was preceded in death by his parents, sister Vivian Wolf Baumker, and brothers Richard E. Wolf and Frank P. Wolf, Jr.

A lifelong bachelor and resident of Fort Pierce , after his brothers’ deaths he became a loving surrogate father to his many nieces and nephews and is survived by Lois (Karl) Ludwig, Laura Christine (Tom) Varanelli, Brooke William (Ginger) Wolf, Ellan (Scott) Rice, Carmen Kathleen (Hernando) Diaz, Marie Michelle (Steven) Waters, Cynthia (Michael) Stoklosa, Barbara (Gary) Betts, and Judith (Richard) Hainebach.

Mr. Wolf attended St. Anastasia School from first grade through high school, graduating in 1948. Immediately after graduation, he enlisted in the Florida National Guard rising over 38 years from company clerk to Warrant Officer in the local unit. In addition, he was involved in the management of several citrus groves held by a local Cooperative.

Loved and admired by those who knew him he has served as a devoted member and supporter of both St. Anastasia School and Church. He is also a loyal supporter of many other church and community efforts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Another visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 5:30-8:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will take place at Riverview Memorial Park.
