Mrs. Willie Mae (Bill) Williamson, daughter of Oscar Sanders and Minnie Sanders Land, was born November 19, 1917 in Chester, SC. She peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on Friday,
June 5, 2015.
During her early years, Mrs. Williamson along with her family, moved to Winston-Salem, NC where she attended the public schools, graduating from Atkins High School. She later became self employed as a cosmetologist, moved to Duquesne, PA, and remained in that position until retirement. After retirement, she relocated to live with her son, Matthew, in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Mrs. Williamson was married to Matthew Sparger, Lucious Williams and Waverly Williamson, all who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her parents; a brother, Frank Sanders; four sisters, Rosa Bell, Ruby Thompson, Lueelen Stowe and Wynona Davis.
Most precious memories will be cherished by her son, Matthew (Equilla) Sparger of the home; five grandchildren, Ramona (Buddy) Rose, Van (Adrienne) Sparger, Mark (Kimberly) Sparger, Leroy Beatty, and Karen Matthews; five great-grandchildren, Brittany Sparger, Jabari Rose, Cara Sparger, Geno Sparger and Keniston Sparger; one great-great-granddaughter, Jewel Sparger; several nieces and nephews, including two devoted nieces, Alice Brown of Fayetteville, NC and Olivia Young of Gastonia, NC; a host of great nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and family friends.
