Nel Granitz, 74, died December 8, 2013 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Granitz was born in Darien, Georgia and moved to Fort Pierce over 40 years ago coming from Atlanta, Georgia.
Nel received her Masters of Education from Florida Atlantic University and retired from Mariposa Elementary School after working there for 17 years as Principal. She was also a member of Lawnwood Hospital Auxillary.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Rusty Granitz of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Toyia Halle and Andra Dill both of Port St. Lucie, FL; 5 grandchildren, Troy Shearer, Brittany Dill, Cristy Dill, Austin Halle, and Tanner Halle; and 2 great-grandsons, Landon & Jonas Shearer.
