Yolaine Donat 71, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Yolaine was born November 8, 1946 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her parents were: father, Andre Denis and mother Germaine Jeannot. She moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida 28 years ago from Brooklyn, New York.
She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking Haitian food. Yolaine was a faithful servant of Jehovah. Her hope was to live forever on an earthly paradise. She also had a firm belief in the resurrection. Yolaine constantly talked about the wonderful promises of Jehovah God. With a smile and happiness she looked forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 21:3, 4: “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed.”
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Joseph Donat of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; son McNeil Donat of Clifton, New Jersey; daughter, Lyrvoll Donat of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; grandchildren: Ariana M. and Isabella Donat of Cllifton, New Jersey and Amelie Lorgea of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; brothers: Pierre Denis, Jean Marc Denis, Yves Denis and Patrick Denis; sisters: Ginette Denis, Judith Denis and Kerlande Denis as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Ricardo Donat.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 4PM to 6 PM at Haisley Tribute Center located at 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida, service to be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 10 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 318 East Midway Road Fort Pierce, Florida. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery located at 3800 Sunrise Blvd Fort Pierce, Florida.
