Zack Elmer Fife

December 31, 1930 — March 27, 2004

Mr. Fife was born in Pikeville, Kentucky and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1957 coming from Kentucky.He was a heavy equipment mechanic for many years, a Veteran of the Korean War serving our country in the U.S. Army, was a recipient of the “Purple Heart” medal, member of the VFW & the American Legion Post 10554 in Ft. Pierce, an avid fisherman, and he also collected antiques.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Fife Hoxie and Kathy Diane Tamez both of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Zack Ronnie Fife of Fedscreek, KY, and Gregory Alan Fife of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Virgil Fife of Bradenton, FL, John Fife of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Charles Fife of Indiana; sisters, Erniebelle Fields of Grapevine, KY, Ernestine Maynard of Wildwood, FL, Hazel Fife of Kentucky, and Jean Adams of Ft. Pierce, FL; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
