ANGELA AWBREY
Funeral Director/Embalmer Intern

At 17, I felt a calling to the funeral industry, but it wasn’t until I turned 30 that I truly embraced it. After organizing two celebrations of life for my family, including one for my father, I realized how much I valued creating meaningful and personalized services. While planning my father’s service was an honor, I wasn’t able to fully grieve or heal alongside my family because I was so focused on conducting the service myself. I also realized how different the experience could have been if I had known about all the options available to us.

This led me to pursue my GED and a funeral service degree to help others through those difficult moments. My goal is to support families by creating personalized, memorable services that allow them to honor their loved ones and find healing.

As a mother of two, I understand the importance of family and the legacy we leave behind. I’m passionate about helping people create services that reflect their loved one’s unique life and values. Whether it's through creative touches or thoughtful planning, I want every service to feel deeply personal. My love for art, science, and nature helps me connect with families and guide them in telling their loved one’s stories in a way that feels right for them.
